Make Your Voice Heard: Take the City of Napoleon’s Community Survey

The City of Napoleon is updating its Master Plan and asking residents and community members to help shape Napoleon’s future. If you believe preserving and repurposing the former school on Main Street as Three Arches Ohio should be part of that future, this is an important opportunity to share your thoughts.

Where does Three Arches fit in the survey?

While the survey does not specifically ask about the former school, several questions relate directly to the vision for Three Arches Ohio.

Question 5 asks you to rate priorities for the community. Areas that may relate to Three Arches include:

• Downtown revitalization
• Protection and improvement of Napoleon’s historic      properties
• Improved attractiveness and functionality of downtown

Question 10 asks about land uses you would like to see expanded. Community Public Spaces and Parks and Recreation may be particularly relevant to the future use of Three Arches.

Questions 6, 7, 9 and 18 provide space to share your own ideas. If Three Arches is important to you, these are opportunities to specifically mention the former school on Main Street and Three Arches Ohio. For example, you might share:

• “I would like to see the former school on Main Street preserved and put back to use for the community.”
• “ I support saving the former school and JLJ Auditorium and making them available for community use again” 
• “I would like to see the former school become Three Arches Ohio, with the JLJ Auditorium and other spaces used for events, recreation and community activities.”

These are simply suggestions to help you see where Three Arches connects to the Master Plan survey.
