Our mission is to create a vibrant community for current and future generations through restoration of the JLJ Auditorium. Together, with your support, we can move the project forward and draw people to our community to live, work and play.
Your donation can be made at any level. And you'll have the option of making a one-time contribution or reoccurring monthly/annually. We appreciate each and every contributor.
Champions understand the road ahead for Napoleon demands a vibrant community everyone can enjoy and pledge a gift of $1,000 or more. Opportunities include Practical Needs, Pledge a Seat, Founders Circle and more. We will happily personalize a giving option to meet your needs.
Many in our community are unaware of this project or the enormous strides made. Help spread the word on economic potential by posting a complimentary sign in your yard or at your business.
Many supporters have come on board. Below are excerpts from Letters of Support.
Mayor of Napoleon (previous)
Therefore, I, Ronald A. Behm, Mayor of the City of Napoleon, do hereby recognize and support the formation efforts of the NAPOLEON CIVIC CENTER STEERING COMMITTEE in their endeavor to set up a non-profit foundation to save the John L. Johnson Auditorium and portions of the present Central Elementary School for use as a Civic center.
Napoleon Community Band
Our organization has been challenged over the years in finding venues for our concerts. We would welcome an auditorium that could be used for community concert band performances, rehearsals, and storage space.
Henry County Chorale
As director and founder of the adult community choir, The Henry County Chorale, I fully endorse the renovation and restoration of John L. Johnson auditorium. As a music educator, I see the need for the district and community to not only provide for the numerous extra-curricular sporting activities, but more importantly to provide for the board adopted curriculum-based music education within the district with a performance arena that allows for the culmination of what is taught in the classroom.

The arts have played an integral role in the history of our region. We would like to see that continue with the establishment of the Napoleon Civic Center.
